This summer brought us an unexpected – but truly wonderful – surprise. A team of journalists from KBS 뉴스, South Korea’s largest public broadcasting service, spent time here in Grimsby to learn how local groups and community organisations are working to make our town a better place to live. And much to our delight, they reached out to East Marsh United to be part of their feature.
The resulting news segment is now live, and you can watch it in full here:

It’s a long piece, but if you’d like to jump straight to our part, you’ll find our CEO Billy speaking at 32:10 and again at 35:00.
We certainly weren’t expecting international recognition – especially from more than 5,000 miles away – but it’s a real privilege to know that the work happening on the East Marsh is resonating far beyond our community. ❤️
A huge thank-you to KBS for visiting, listening, and shining a light on the positive work happening here in Grimsby. And as always, thank you to our members, volunteers, and supporters who make this work possible every day. 💪
