On Friday, July 11, the vibrant heart of Grimsby’s East Marsh came alive with colour, music and laughter at the Entertaining the Marsh fun day. Organised by East Marsh United in collaboration with Foresight and Opera North, the event welcomed community members of all ages for an unforgettable afternoon of fun, connection and celebration.
One of the most cherished highlights of the day was the incredible lineup of musical performances. Into the evening, the air buzzed with beautiful harmonies and soul-lifting melodies thanks to the talents of:
- Opera North – bringing a touch of classical brilliance,
- The Foresight Choir – whose voices reflected the spirit and heart of the local community,
- East Marsh Peace Choir – moving the audience with their message of unity and hope.
These performances truly captured the essence of the day: celebration, togetherness and community pride.
