Hello, hope we’re all well!
With the summer holidays not too far away, we wanted to let you know about our plans that we hope can play a part in keeping the kids entertained over the coming weeks.
On Tuesday 27th July, we are releasing the first of three FREE summer packs that will be filled with a bunch of activities for you to have a go at and enjoy at home or out and about.
There will be two further packs which will be issued on August 10th and August 24th.
You will be able to collect the packs from our base at Freeman Street Market (from the Sun and Moon room in the Courtyard area!) on Tuesdays between 10:30 – 1:00. One of the EMU team will be there to hand out the packs to you.
The first pack is called ‘Things with Wings’ which has a nature-based theme.
As part of one of the activities in the packs, you can enter a competition to win some goodies! We want you to paint or draw something from your summer holiday. This may be something you’ve done or somewhere you’ve been – let your imagination run wild!
On Tuesday 17th August, we’re hoping to host a ‘Beach Day’. We’re planning to bring the beach to Freeman Street Market – we’ll have the sandcastles, the ice cream, and a puppet show! Stay tuned for more details…
To participate in our activity, you MUST be a resident on the East Marsh and we need you to complete a simple Google form with your details so we can keep a track of the packs and of who is involved.
