You will have hopefully seen that our podcast, East Marshian Chronicles, is out now. The intro episode is an introduction to the kind of thing we would like to do. Our second, published 1st June, is a fantastic interview about Working Class Adult Education.
The one after that is up to you – in that it will be a recording of a Zoom conversation as part of what we’re calling our ‘Study Circles’. We want these conversations to be an important contribution to our educational thinking and to the direction of the podcast itself.
Would you like to join the conversation and contribute to the direction of our podcast? Just email Billy – billy@eastmarshunited.org – and let him know – please do!!!
The online conversation will be on Wednesday, 9 June⋅7:00 – 8:30pm
All you will have to do is listen to the first couple of podcasts and think about them. Then, we will sit together on Zoom and will discuss the past, present and future of working class adult education and also consider our shared ideas of how the podcast might best be developed, what topics and speakers, and so on.
You don’t need to be from the east marsh – if you stand with us then you’re with us, so get in touch, come along and help shape our WEA Community Education Branch together
