East Marsh — we need YOU!
On Thursday, 20th August, East Marsh United is hosting the Community Roots Market Place, and we are putting the decision-making power directly into the hands of our community.
Local groups and residents have submitted their ideas to make East Marsh an even better place to live. Now, it’s up to you to decide which of these projects receive funding.
How It Works
- Drop In Anytime: No need to book or register in advance—just rock up during either of our two sessions: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
- Explore the Stalls: Take a look around, meet the applicants, and learn about the different community initiatives pitching for funding.
- Cast Your Votes: Every visitor gets 5 votes (one vote per project pitch).
- Who Can Vote: Voting is open to all local residents aged 8 years old and up. No proof of address is required—if you’re there to support the East Marsh community, your voice counts!
Beyond voting, come along to enjoy a warm, friendly community atmosphere with complimentary refreshments and a chance to catch up with your neighbors.
